OWN THE NIGHT

Being a nightlife photographer can be just the opposite of romantic and sweet. For years now I’ve been obsessed by the culture of nightlife, not only for it’s personas and debauchery but also for its hidden instants. Points in time that seem so pure, where individuals are at their most vulnerable. This has driven me to focus a lot of my work towards capturing genuine, unstaged moments at night.

The debate of true love may remain unanswered, but one can catch glimpses of it in its purest form within Public Intimacy. Whether a photograph encapsulates the story of one beautiful night or captured the moment a spark ignited in the darkness which continued to burn for years to come, this series is a testimony to love and desire.
